A symposium on the priesthood organized at the Vatican!
For three days, from February 17 to 19, experts and theologians from all over the world will reflect on the theme: “For a fundamental theology of the priesthood”. Interview with Cardinal Ouellet, founder of the center for research and anthropology of vocations which is organizing this conference.

The Center for Research and Anthropology of Vocations, created in November 2020 and chaired by Cardinal Marc Ouellet, Prefect of the Congregation for Bishops, is organizing an international symposium from February 17 to 19 on the theme “ For a fundamental theology of the priesthood ”. Pope Francis will open this colloquium, organized in the Paul VI hall of the Vatican, whose main objective is to deepen the relationship between the fundamental priesthood of the baptized and the ministerial priesthood.
Each day will be structured around a theme: “Tradition and new horizons” on the 17th, “Trinity, mission, sacramentality” on the 18th, and “Celibacy, charism, spirituality” on the 19th. These three days of reflection will conclude with a “sending in mission" by Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle, Prefect of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples.
